Ray Ward Gunmakers was established in 1961 by Ray Ward, with his son, John, taking over the running of the business in 1985. 

With over 50 years in the gun trade, John has an extensive wealth of knowledge and experience, extending to both game and sporting guns, making him one of the foremost experts when it comes to gun fitting and design.

The latest Ray Ward Showroom opened in 2021 is situated only minutes from the famous Bluebell Railway and only two miles from Northall CPC in Sheffield Park.

In May 2023 John was joined by his son Jonathan who had been Head of Gunroom at the Holland & Holland Shooting Grounds at Northwood and General Manager at E.J Churchills. He brings with him his expertise in gun and product knowledge and his love of clay shooting. The family-run business is stronger than ever and the showroom has just had its clothing floor extended and with the added on-site airgun range the shop boasts a wonderful shopping experience.
